CANTON- Richard Paul Keefe, 54 years of age, of Canton formerly of Braintree, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, November 14, 2016. Richard was born in Braintree and was a 1980 graduate of Braintree High School. After high school, he joined the Marines and was stationed in Hawaii and Southeast Asia. After his military service, he worked as a HVAC technician for the Brow Oil Company in Braintree prior to his retirement. Richard was the loving son of William J. Keefe and Joanne T. (Castelli) Keefe of Braintree. He was the beloved husband of Rachael M. (Neas) Keefe of Canton. He was the much loved and devoted father to Samantha M. Keefe and Richard P. Keefe Jr. both of Canton. Richard was the brother of Jean Kilduff married to Brian Kilduff of Norwell, Michael J. Keefe married to Lauren Keefe of Middleboro, and Linda Keefe of Carver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Friday, November 18th from 10:30am until 12:30 p.m. There will be a Catholic Prayer Service at the funeral home following the visiting hours at 12:30pm. Burial will be private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Memorial donations in Richard’s memory may be sent to the DAV, PO Box 14301
