WEYMOUTH- Marguerite Beauregard Luciano, 77 years of age, passed away at her home on Monday, April 3rd, 2017. She was born in Braintree and attended Braintree Schools. Margi will be remembered as a selfless, generous person who routinely put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was kind, loving and forever an optimist, always looking for and finding the best in people.  Her love and encouragement gave her family hope in the hardest of times and happiness in the best. She was the loving mother to Josephine L. Embree of Weymouth and Nina C. Luciano of Hingham. She was the very proud grandmother to Charles J. Baker married to Alexandra of Augusta, GA, Michael R. Baker and Robert P. Baker both of Weymouth, and Sofia M. Taddei of Hingham. Margi was the devoted and loving wife of the late Robert F. Luciano who passed away in May of 2016. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 870 Broad Street (opposite the US Post Office in Jackson Square) on Thursday, April 6th from 4-7pm. There will be a Funeral Service at the funeral home on Friday, April 7th at 11:00am. The Reverend Thomas P. Mulvey, Pastor of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Braintree will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, South Weymouth. Memorial donations in Marguerite’s memory may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
