BRAINTREE- Linda Burke, 60 years of age, went to be with her Lord on November 28, 2016 at the MetroWest Hospital in Framingham. She was born in Quincy and had been a Quincy resident before moving to Braintree. She graduated from Braintree High School Class of 1976. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Braintree and a former member of Central Baptist Church in Quincy. Linda had been an assembler for the Charles River Arc. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edward A. Burke and the late Lorraine (Rapson) Burke. She is survived by her step mother Arlene E. (DeMarco) Burke of Braintree, by a brother Scott A. Burke of Braintree, and a sister Deborah Ruth Edwards of York, PA. She was the aunt of Rachel Edwards, Sarah Edwards, and Jared Edwards. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Saturday, December 3rd from 10:00-11:00am. There will be a Funeral Service at the funeral home at 11:00am. The Reverend Robert Killeffer Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Braintree will officiate. Burial will follow at Braintree Cemetery on Plain Street. Memorial donations in Linda’s memory may be made to The Advocates, 1881 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA 01701, who had been very kind to her, or the charity or church of the donor’s choice.
