Braintree – Judith Joan (Goldstein) Fasano, 77 years of age of Braintree passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Care One Nursing Facility in Weymouth. She was born and raised in Taunton. Judith graduated from Taunton High School and subsequently graduated from business school. She was involved in the insurance and catering fields. She was the daughter of the late Milton and Thelma Goldstein. Judith was the beloved wife of Philip Joseph Fasano of Braintree. She was the mother of David Shapiro of Framingham and grandmother of Jake Shapiro. She is survived by her sister, Roberta Stobin of Lake Worth, FL. Judith was the sister of the late Arnold Goldstein formerly of Agawam. Judith was active in a Women’s Bowling League. Visiting hours will be Monday, June 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington Street, Braintree. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jun 21st at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at  Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington St., South Braintree Square. Relatives and friends are invited. Judith suffered from renal failure. Memorial donations may be sent to the Kidney Foundation 85 Astor Avenue, Norwood, MA 02062.
