BRAINTREE James T. Arnold, 82 Years of Age, passed away at the Blue Hills Health and Rehab Center in Stoughton on Sunday night November 26th, 2017.  James was born in Boston and raised in West Roxbury.  He was high school educated and entered the military in January of 1955 and completed his tour in January of 1959 as a court reporter for the Naval Justice Department. After his military service to the nation, he became a well-known claims adjuster for the Crawford Insurance Company of Georgia in its Boston branch.  He was a well-respected member of the Braintree Chapter 29 of the DAV.  He was a disabled veteran.  Jim was the son of the late James P. Arnold and Caroline (Dornlas) Arnold formerly of Boston.  Jim is the beloved husband of Regina Ann (Walsh) Arnold. He was the devoted father of James T. Arnold, Jr. and his wife Ann of Braintree, and of Ann E. Arnold – Burns, of Braintree.  Jim is the brother of, Robert A. Arnold and his wife, Joan, of West Roxbury, Christopher Arnold and his wife, Diane, of West Bridgewater, Carol Glenn of South Boston, Barbara Robertson of Abington; Katherine Riley and her husband James of Tennessee.  He also is the beloved grandfather of Matthew Burns and Amy Burns.  Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 29th, from 5 to 8 PM at the Russell-Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Chapels in Braintree 516 Washington Street Braintree. A gathering will be held at 9:00 AM at the funeral home to be followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, South Braintree Square at 10 AM on Thursday, November 30th.  Burial will be on Friday, December 1st at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne, at 2PM.  Memorial Donations may be sent to the Braintree DAV, Chapter 29 on 788 Liberty Street Braintree.
