Braintree – Doris W. (Rice) Stone, 96 years of age, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her home. She was born at New York City and had lived on Liberty Street in Braintree for 91 years. Doris was a daughter of the late Albert and Martha (Ward) Rice and sister of the late Edith Nickson. She was the beloved wife of Wilbur “Will” G. Stone to whom she had been married to for 62 years.  She is survived by her loving son Robert Stone of Braintree. There will be a private burial at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
