BRAINTREE- Clifford Allen Thibodeau, 71 years of age, passed away at his home after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017. He was born in Norwood and lived in Canton where he graduated from Canton High School. Cliff then moved to Braintree when he married his wife Pamela E. (Nelson) Thibodeau in 1974. He worked for Polaroid as a finish carpenter. Cliff then decided to start his own business, Creative Design and Remodeling. He was a life member of the NRA, the Sharon Fish and Game Club, the Norwood Elks Lodge, and the Appalachian Mountain Club. Cliff is survived by his beloved wife Pamela E. (Nelson) Thibodeau. He was the loving father of Cheryl Taylor-Zakhary of Braintree and Douglas P. Taylor married to Deborah of Bridgewater. He was the devoted grandfather to Deena, Victoria, Adam, Drew, and Samantha and great grandfather to Abby, Ava, Casey, Lily, Owen, and Lukas. Cliff is survived by nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his cat Dusty whom he adored. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Monday, April 3rd from 4-7pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 4th at 9:30am to be followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree at 10:30am. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Memorial donations in Cliff’s memory may be sent to the Standish Humane Society, 622 Congress Street, Duxbury, MA 0233, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
