Braintree – Charlene D. (Milot) Bache, age 74, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 after injuries sustained in a fall. Charlene was born in Brockton and then was raised and educated in Hagerstown, MD. She was a graduate of the University of Virginia Medical School where she received her nurses training to work as an operating room nurse. She subsequently worked as a nurse in the emergency room at the University of Virginia. She then moved back to Massachusetts in 1965 where she went to work at the Brockton Hospital in the emergency room and the operating room. She then worked for the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. She moved to Braintree in 1970. Charlene loved gospel music and loved to sing. She had belonged to the First Baptist Church in Braintree. Charlene was proud of the fact that she was an avid Christian and loved to share the message of the Lord with people in spiritual need. Charlene is survived by her loving husband Stephen Robert Bache. She is the devoted and caring mother of Stephen E. Bache of Abington, Terry L. Wyman married to Mark of Apex, NC, Allison M. Trout married to David of Salem, NH, David A. Bache of Lakeville, MA, Paul D. Bache married to Michelle of Abington, Matthew A. Bache married to Nicolette of Rochester, MA and Thomas J. Bache of Abington. She was also the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren. At Charlene’s request all services were private.
