BRAINTREE- Anthony Truscello, 103 years of age, passed away peacefully at the John Scott Nursing Home on Friday, December 23rd 2016. He was born in the North End of Boston and lived in Boston his entire life until moving to Braintree 12 years ago. Anthony worked as a machinist for the Sylvania Company and New England Telephone and General Dynamics working his way up to Master Craftsman. He was proud of the fact that he made a part that was used in a Satellite. He retired in 1978. He was a member of the Elk’s and the Savin Hill Yacht Club. He is the husband of the late Mary (Lammers) Truscello. He is the loving uncle of Ann McLean of Florida, Maria Sidlar, Joann Perniciaro, and Linda Drabik all of Long Island, NY, and Paul Truscello of Braintree. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. There will be a visiting hour at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Thursday, December 29th from 11am- 12 noon to be followed by a graveside service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. Memorial donations in Tony’s memory may be sent to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund
