Our Weymouth Funeral Home was originally owned and run by the civil war veteran Willard Dunber and his grandson Clarke Dunber taught Mortimer Peck the funeral business and helped him purchase the first Peck Funeral Home which was in Quincy MA, opposite the full Adam's mansion. In the 1950's the business moved to Tremont Street in Braintree and later moved to Washington Street in Braintree. The Weymouth Funeral home celebrated both the Centennial as well as the Bicentennial 4th of July celebrations. The predecessor to the Quincy Funeral Home did John Quincy Adams' funeral in 1836.
